APYAC 2007- SPEAK TO THE NATION

The feeling of coming back to Malaysia, Tanah Airku never meant so much until last Monday(25th June) when I came back from Jakarta, Indonesia after the APYAC 2007.....Not much traffic, clearer air....So thankful for my country...

The conference was awesome, standing in the midst of thousands of young people from Indonesia and the rest of the Asia Pacific countries, worshipping together as one voice, united as one nation - the feeling is just unexplainable.... "Speak to the Nation", speak hope, peace, joy, healing, freedom, love and salvation...I was really inspired by the messages preached and the praise and worship was power-packed...Indeed God spoke to me in various ways....Overall, I'm truly blessed...

Being the International delegate is such an honor...People escorting us around to ensure our safety, comfort but above all else, it is their kindness and sacrifices which touches my heart... They came early in the morning to our hotel to take us to the stadium and also being the last to go back after we reached the hotel at night....Lord, please bless them back in return...I’ve also met new friends, one of them is Siu Li. She was the one who took care of us throughout our stay in Jakarta...

We left in the morning and only come back at night for the 3 days of conference...it was indeed very tiring yet satisfying...Journey from hotel to stadium took us an hour which actually only takes 15 minutes of drive because the traffic is really BAD....You could say it’s a jam for 24 hours, vehicles honking everywhere...I don't think anyone of us can drive there because it is so crowded with mini buses, BIG buses, cars, "bajai", motorcycles, bicycles, humans....oh ya...not to forget, Toyota Vios is actually their TAXI...so insulting man....haih...

Shopping is good over there....first of all, our exchange rate is much higher than theirs...Rp 100,000 is RM 40. So cool...was having a hard time converting and paying because there is so many digits and zeros....haha...

Wasn't feeling well on the last day.. I was down with fever and flu...but gotta pull it through because my shopping wasn't done yet...went to this place call "Manga Dua", which is something like Petaling Street over here but situated in a complex....cheap stuff..but crowded with people... Thank God I managed to survive...God's favour is really upon me... I wasn’t suppose to have the permission to join this conference, but however it is He made the way...I'm so blessed...Thank you Lord....
