Worship

Heyoooo ppl!!!So So sorry guys and girls for the oh-so long delay.
How's everyone ??? Still counting up all the ka-ching$$ from your angpaos eh?? XD

Alright, as this month is our youth's Worship Emphasis Month I'll be updating on something that has been shared by our brother Melvin Lee aka Mello. Still remember those pictures he had shown us..man, I tell you, I'm still awestrucked by it till today! And so today's update is gonna be about WORSHIP.
So...here it goes.

Acts16:23-26 (Go read k ?)

In these verses as you can see, it's about Paul and Silas praising and worshiping God in their lowest and darkest moment, but they still choose to sing praises and pray so loudly in front of everyone. And while they were doing so, an earthquake happened, foundations of the prison were shaken, the prison doors were opened, and the prisoner's band were loosen.

What was happening actually?
You see, while Paul and Silas were praising and worshiping God, God on His mobile throne comes to them and dwell among them, God Himself was there with them. That is why it's important to start a service with prayer and worship. It shakes foundations that are holding us back from worshiping and open the doors and loosen the chain on us. When we focus our eyes on God and set our hearts right before Him, God will be there, for sure.
Psalms22:3- God inhabits in the praises of His people.

This shows us that we don't have to be in the right mood to worship God. Paul and Silas didn't complain and cry and pat each other's shoulders with apathy, they sang and prayed to God.
Many times we choose our mood and time to praise God, but do you think that's the right thing to do ? Hmm...what will your answer be ?

If you look up in the skies, you can see the sun in the morning, the stars and moon at night. Didn't God created all that ? Even the universe, every planet, the uncountable stars, isn't He the creator?

Yet, Jesus Christ, was not only willing to die for us, but was willing to come all the way through the universe, to a rock called Earth to die for us. Nothing stopped Him from doing all these for us, no not His emo-ness, not His anger, NOTHING. He died on the cross out of love, unconditional love.

We, as Christians shouldn't we be loving God more after knowing all that He had done for us?
Shouldn't we be praising and worshiping Him all the time even in our lowest condition?

God's fingerprints are everywhere, always full of mercy, grace and love.

Worship, is how much we express our feelings and thankfulness to what He has done, and for who He is. Never too young, never too old, no matter where, no matter when.

Yeap, I think that's all for today. Happy belated Valentine's Day! and a very happy new year! =)
Jesus loves you !
