Homer testifies! amazing! hahah!

I am in this race is all because of the God’s help. Actually I have something going on that day, but then, I really wish that I could go on this race. So I decided to pray and ask God to give me the time to go for this race & my prayer worked!! My teammates are Chelsy, Andrea, Daniel Ng, Ben Yee (F1 driver) hehe.. We planned many things just before the race and we were all prepared one week before the race. We were all excited to go for the race because we knew that it will be a total fun day.

Our team came dressed as the Simpsons. I am homer, Daniel is Maggie, Ben Yee is Bart, Andrea is Marge and Chelsy is Lisa.

The most difficult task of the race for me was to climb up all the way to Taman Rakyat to retrieve the next clue. We were the 4th team to arrive up there and the 2nd team to come down. We went through many difficulties together. When we came down they ask us to choose a task – you can either choose to See or Hear (while Ps. Gideon was eating mee goreng ) hehe.. 2 teams actually arrived at this checkpoint first – team Mc Flurry and the other was our team but we managed to finish the task 1st.

We had lots of fun together with team Mc Flurry. We really enjoyed their teamwork. We went to the train station to take the train and just as we were about to buy our ticket & go inside I dropped my camera while climbing up the stairs. And because of that we missed the train and we had to wait another 45 min for the next train to arrive. As a result of that many more other team arrived while we waited.

I wish much more participant will join this race next year because it is very fun really…really…This race is not just fun but it also teaches us in that our life is just like being in a race. When we study, we “race” to score A’s and when we work we “race” to get money. This race also teaches us to take God as our Teammate and Team Leader to guide us in our race in life.

That’s all I want say and I hope more participant will join next year’s Amazing G(race)! Amen?

Calvin the HOMER.

Amazing (G)race - Denyse Chan.

This is really an experience for me...i have been thru many other games and stuff but this one is the best among all...I was not supposed to come but by God's help, my parents let me enjoy this awesome game.

my group was called the Bannitos. the group members were: Julian,me,XinJie,Heidi,ErnestChoong.

We had many tasks to complete even though we had problems but still we didn't complain and worked as a team to finish our tasks. There was this one task that we have to climb up the very high hill and find a 2 storey pondok. we managed to go up and retreive out next clue and down we go as a whole team. we din really know each other vry well but we get to know more about each other in this game when we had to work together and stuff.

I had alot of fun in this game it was an experience....its really awesome...if u missed out this year there is always a next year...you must join this amazing, exciting, brain twisting, and most of all fun race. I also met many new friends and get to know my friends better you can see their true colours coming out.

Eventhough my team din get top3 we got 11 we still got the gift of friendship and excitement. This amazing grace game i felt like it was the real thing but only in 1 state..its okay atleast i had loads of fun and laughter. I hope i can go next year . and next year my goal is to invite my frens to come and join us for this event. but trust me there is 1 advise dun wear slippers.Heidi got so many blisters on her feet but still had the strength to continue on the race. Its awesome and don't miss it next year yeaaaa...if u miss it u're sure gonna miss out all the fun and excitement people!

Why God Allows pain (e-mail sent by Xin Jie)

This is one of the best explanations of why God allows pain and suffering that I have seen...

A man went to a barbershop to have his hair cut and his beard trimmed.
As the barber began to work, they began to have a good conversation.
They talked about so many things and various subjects.
When they eventually touched on the subject of God, the barber said:
'I don't believe that God exists.'

'Why do you say that?' asked the customer. 'Well, you just have to go out in the street to realize that God doesn't exist.
Tell me, if God exists, would there be so many sick people?
Would there be abandoned children?

If God existed, there would be neither suffering nor pain.
I can't imagine a loving God who would allow all of these things.'
The customer thought for a moment, but didn't respond because he didn't want to start an argument.
The barber finished his job and the customer left the shop.

Just after he left the barbershop, he saw a man in the street with long, stringy, dirty hair and an untrimmed beard.
He looked dirty and unkempt. The customer turned back and entered the barber shop again and he said to the barber:
'You know what? Barbers do not exist.'
'How can you say that?' asked the surprised barber.
'I am here, and I am a barber. And I just worked on you!'
'No!' the customer exclaimed. 'Barbers don't exist because
if they did, there would be no people with dirty long hair and untrimmed beards, like that man outside.'

Ah, but barbers DO exist! That's what happens when people do not come to me.'
'Exactly!' affirmed the customer. 'That's the point! God, too, DOES exist!
That's what happens when people do not go to Him and don't look to Him for help.
That's why there's so much pain and suffering in the world.'

What an awesome story to share to those amongst us that doesnt believe God exist!

God Bless!

Never Give Up!

I received an email from Kevin Chin and felt like sharing it with you :)
May God bless you as He had blessed me a lot! :D

NEVER give up.

One day I decided to quit...

I quit my job, my relationship, my spirituality... I wanted to quit my life.
I went to the woods to have one last talk with God.
'God', I asked, 'Can you give me one good reason not to quit?'

His answer surprised me...
'Look around', He said. 'Do you see the fern and the bamboo?'

'Yes', I replied.

'When I planted the fern and the bamboo seeds, I t ook very good care of them.
I gave them light.
I gave them water.
The fern quickly grew from the earth.
Its brilliant green covered the floor.
Yet nothing came from the bamboo seed. But I did not quit on the bamboo.

In the second year the Fern grew more vibrant and plentiful.
And again, nothing came from the bamboo seed. But I did not quit on the bamboo.

He said.
'In year three there was still nothing from the bamboo seed.
But I would not quit.

In year four, again, there was nothing from the bamboo seed. I would
not quit.' He said.

'Then in the fifth year a tiny sprout emerged from the earth.
Compared to the fern it was seemingly small and insignificant...
But just 6 months later the bamboo rose to over 100 feet tall.

It had spent the five years growing roots. Those roots made it strong and gave it what it needed to survive.

I would not give any of my creations a challenge it could not handle.'
He asked me. 'Did you know, my child, that all this time you have been struggling, you have actually been growing roots'.
'I would not quit on the bamboo.
I will never quit on you.'
'Don't compare yourself to others.'
He said.
'The bamboo had a different Purpose than the fern.
Yet they both make the forest beautiful.'
'Your time will come', God said to me.
'You will rise high'

'How high should I rise?'I asked.

'How high will the bamboo rise?' He asked in return.

'As high as it can?' I questioned.

'Yes.' He said, 'Give me glory by rising as high as you can.'

I left the forest and brought back this story.

I hope these words can help you see that God will never give up on you.

Never, Never, Never Give up.

For the Prayer is not an option but an opportunity.
Don't tell the Lord how big the problem is,
tell the problem how Great the Lord is!

God is great!
